Staff/Principal AI Transformation Engineer

About Qualitate

Qualitate is building the AI-native primary intelligence platform for enterprises, investment firms, and asset managers. We automate the entire primary research workflow, from study design and expert recruitment through AI-moderated interviews and insight synthesis – replacing weeks of manual research with hours of high-signal output.

Expert research is a broken industry dominated by legacy incumbents with expensive, manual, and slow services. Investment and corporate strategy teams spend hundreds of hours coordinating intermediaries, scheduling expert calls, and synthesizing insights across fragmented providers. The process takes weeks to produce short-lived intelligence.

Qualitate transforms this workflow by autonomously conducting expert discussions at scale using AI. Qualitate’s AI Moderator interviews thousands of experts simultaneously each month, capturing forward-looking purchasing plans, competitive displacement, and real-time ROI signals. The platform turns these interviews into quantified, time-series outputs tracking over 10,000 public and private companies – queryable instantly in natural language.

Our customers include some of the world’s largest enterprises, hedge funds, PE firms, credit investors, and venture capital firms. We’re growing fast, and need account executives to help scale our GTM organization.

The Role

You'll help drive Qualitate's expansion into the credit fund vertical, selling AI-powered primary intelligence into direct lending funds, distressed and special situations investment firms, CLO managers, private credit platforms, and PE firms with credit arms. This is a full-cycle closing role — you build your own pipeline, run your own demos, and close your own deals. The right person understands credit underwriting workflows and can show how Qualitate accelerates diligence and improves analytical rigor.

Credit funds use Qualitate to run industry expert diligence on new deals, map competitive landscapes, build management reference programs, and monitor portfolio companies. As part of our founding GTM team, you'll develop the messaging, case studies, and sales process for this vertical from scratch.

What the day-to-day looks like:

- Prospect into and close credit-focused investment firms, including direct lending funds, distressed and special situations investment firms, CLO managers, private credit platforms, and PE firms with credit arms. You own the full cycle.
- Build pipeline through your own network, outbound prospecting, modern AI tooling, industry events, and creative approaches.
- Run demos tailored to credit underwriting workflows: industry expert diligence on new deals, competitive landscape mapping, management reference programs, and portfolio monitoring.
- Navigate institutional buying processes, including managing directors, heads of research, CIOs, investment committee members, compliance, and procurement.
- Manage trials and proof-of-concepts through to conversion, driving adoption and purchasing in target accounts.
- Feed product insights back to engineering. Your market signal directly shapes what we build.
- Help build the sales playbook. As part of our founding go-to-market team, you’ll develop the messaging, case studies, competitive positioning, and sales process for this vertical from scratch.

Who This Role Is For

- 2–8 years of quota-carrying closing experience selling software, data, or research products into credit funds, private capital, or PE firms. You understand the difference between how a direct lender underwriting middle-market deals operates versus a distressed fund working through restructurings.
- You have a network in the credit and private capital ecosystem. You can get meetings with deal team leads, heads of research, and managing directors without waiting for inbound.
- You understand credit underwriting and due diligence workflows. How funds evaluate industries, assess management teams, model downside scenarios, and build conviction on new credits. You can map Qualitate’s capabilities to that process.
- You’ve sold to skeptical, analytically rigorous buyers. You know how to earn credibility, demonstrate concrete value, and let the product speak.
- You’re comfortable with consultative selling motions where the deal often starts with proving value on a live underwriting project before expanding into a platform commitment.
- You’ve built. Early-stage or high-growth experience where the sales process wasn’t handed to you.

What Sets You Apart

- Direct experience selling research tools, data products, or workflow software to credit-focused firms.
- Familiarity with expert networks and how credit teams currently use (or underuse) them for industry diligence and management references.
- You’ve been part of an early sales team where you helped build the GTM function.
- Prior experience in credit research, leveraged finance, restructuring, or on a credit fund deal team before moving into sales.

Compensation & Benefits

- OTE: Competitive base + uncapped commissions with accelerators above quota. Early-stage equity stake.
- Benefits: Health coverage, flexible PTO, paid holidays.
- Location: NYC hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Account Executive - Credit Funds

About Redwood Materials Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 by JB Straubel, co-founder and former CTO of Tesla, on a simple but radical idea: the critical minerals powering the energy transition already exist. They just need to come back. Today Redwood is the largest lithium-ion battery recycler in North America — recovering, refining, and redeploying critical minerals from end-of-life batteries back into the supply chain. On the energy side, Redwood has deployed the largest second-life battery project in the world, delivering power to AI data centers in months rather than years using proprietary energy architecture engineered entirely in-house. The company is profitable, the market it operates in is projected to grow 20 to 50 times over the next decade, and Redwood is the only company with the supply chain, the technology, and the operational scale to lead it.

Staff Software Engineer

Redwood Materials runs North America's largest battery recycling operation on Redwood OS, our internal software platform. Redwood OS owns warehouse management and manufacturing, the operations and maintenance that keep them running, and integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as our ERP. It is the system of record for a $3B+ business, and we will be building on it for years. We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own a domain of that platform end to end: shaping what gets built with the business, designing it, shipping it, and running it in production. This is a permanent product area, not a project. Interview Process:

Please note that final-round interviews will take place in person at a designated office location. Travel details will be coordinated with selected candidates.

Responsibilities:

- Own a domain of Redwood OS end to end: shape the problem with the business, design it, ship it, and operate it in production.
- Turn ambiguous business asks into clear specifications that engineers and AI agents can execute without further interpretation.
- Make tradeoff-aware design decisions across service boundaries, data models, APIs, integrations, observability, and access control.
- Set the bar in code review: use AI effectively by decomposing work for agents, setting guardrails, verifying output at volume, and staying accountable for everything you ship.
- Keep the platform coherent as multiple engineers and agents change it in parallel.
- Debug and resolve production issues, and improve the reliability of the systems you own.
- Raise the output of everyone around you through documentation, conventions, tooling, and mentoring.
- Work directly with stakeholders on-site 3 days/week: floor walks, operator observation, pairing sessions, and demos.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership of a significant system or domain.
- A track record of owning a problem space end to end with minimal direction.
- Strong Python and production React; experience building and operating applications on AWS.
- Depth in system design: API design, integration patterns, data modeling, and service boundaries.
- Clear, concise technical writing - specifications, design documents, and pull requests that stand on their own.
- Sophisticated use of AI coding agents, paired with full ownership of the result: you can explain every significant decision in the work you ship.
- Judgment to size effort to business value rather than to engineering interest.
- Comfort working alongside warehouse and manufacturing operators on the floor, not only at a desk

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience as a tech lead or engineering manager, or otherwise accountable for the output of a team.
- Direct experience with ERP, WMS, MES, supply chain, or procurement systems.
- Manufacturing, logistics, or recycling industry experience.
- Integration experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Experience operating systems that a physical operation depends on around the clock.

In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and skills. California Pay Range:$217,500—$287,500 USD

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

We collect personal information (PI) from you in connection with your application for employment with Redwood Materials, including the following categories of PI: identifiers, personal records, professional or employment information, and inferences drawn from your PI. We collect your PI for our purposes, including performing services and operations related to your potential employment. We are a 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries, backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. Learn more at grafana.com and follow us on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/grafana-labs/) and X (https://twitter.com/grafana).

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.

This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in the US EST.

About Product Management

As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own the experience for your product as well as its roadmap and competitive positioning, and you will collaborate with company leadership on setting your product's goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, with a strong ability to communicate needs, functionality, and details effectively both to external customers and internal stakeholders. The teams and people you will be interacting with will be 100% remote and globally distributed, so strong and proactive communication is essential.

Product Managers are the bridge that connects R&D to GTM. You are a facilitator who ensures the free flow of information across these teams and are expected to be technically proficient when representing our products to our customers.

The role

As the Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions, you'll own the Grafana Labs offerings that run outside our standard multi-tenant SaaS. That includes Grafana Federal Cloud, for organizations that need FedRAMP-authorized observability: US federal agencies; state, local, and education (SLED) customers; and commercial companies that sell FedRAMP offerings of their own. It also includes Grafana Cloud Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC), which delivers the full Grafana Cloud experience while the customer pays the infrastructure bill directly to their cloud provider, saving them significantly at scale.

Your mission is to make Grafana Labs the obvious choice for organizations that can't use standard SaaS because of compliance, data, or cost-at-scale constraints. Deployment choices change the product: features that are simple in standard SaaS can be hard, expensive, or impossible in a regulated or customer-owned environment. You’ll be responsible for adapting existing Grafana Cloud capabilities to these environments, deciding which features come in, which wait, and which stay out, and occasionally building something specific to BYOC or Federal Cloud. You'll also help shape which deployment models we offer next.

Along the way, you’ll use AI tools daily to speed up research, analyze product signals, and develop positioning, applying strong judgment to the results.

As the Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions, you will:

- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Grafana Bring Your Own Cloud and Grafana Federal Cloud products, using product data and market research to balance customer value against engineering cost and technical constraints
- Own positioning, messaging, and differentiation for these products, including how they compare to regular Grafana Cloud, and partner with Product Marketing on launches, competitive analysis, enablement, and demand programs
- Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on buildouts for these environments, balancing customer timelines with engineering capacity
- Work directly with customers, prospects, and the field on strategic deals and brief partners, resellers, and analysts on our deployment options
- Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to work through product changes affecting our authorization or existing customer commitments

We’re excited about you because you have

- 5+ years of product management experience on a technical B2B product, or a technical background (software engineering, solutions architecture, SRE, or technical program management) plus a demonstrated move into product ownership
- Hands-on experience with a non-standard SaaS deployment model, such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP/government cloud, and a firsthand understanding of how it changes the product, its operations, and its economics
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools
- Clear product and go-to-market judgment: you've shaped what a product should be and how it's positioned and sold, not only when it ships
- Interest in working with US public sector customers and learning their needs and buying cycles. Deep compliance expertise isn't required.
- Experience leading across multiple teams without direct authority, with excellent written and verbal communication in a remote, globally distributed organization

Bonus Points

- Experience selling to or building for US federal, state, or local government customers, or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with government or sovereign cloud frameworks, such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP/GovRAMP, BSI C5, or SecNumCloud, or with offerings such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, AWS European Sovereign Cloud, or GCP Sovereign Cloud
- Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models
- Experience with observability, monitoring, or other data-intensive infrastructure products
- Experience working with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplace partners
- Familiarity with open source software or commercial open source companies

Staff Product Manager, Enterprise Deployment Solutions | USA | Remote

MongoDB is at an important moment. AI is changing how applications are built, how technology gets selected, and what enterprises expect from their data infrastructure. We have a strong point of view on where this is going. We need a communications leader who can help us make that point of view matter in the market.

This is not a traditional corporate communications role. You will work closely with the CMO, CEO, and our technical leaders to sharpen the ideas we want to be known for and make sure they reach the people — and increasingly the AI systems — shaping technology decisions.

This role will lead the evolution of communications for an AI-mediated world—using traditional media, creators, technical media, podcasts, and other trusted voices to shape what people think and influence the sources AI systems use to generate answers and recommendations.

This role may be based in a hybrid capacity at any of our U.S. offices or fully remote within the United States.

What you will own

- Narrative and communications strategy: Partner with the CMO and MongoDB senior leadership to turn the company narrative into a clear external agenda and make sure it holds across executive communications, major company moments and various channels (media, analysts, social, etc.)
- Decision making: Bring strong judgment on what is worth talking about, where we have something differentiated to say, and how we make it land globally
- Executive communications: Build strong platforms for our CEO and other senior leaders and help sharpen their points of view and get them in front of the audiences that matter
- Media, social and influence: Lead how MongoDB shows up across traditional and technical media, social media, influencers, creators, podcasts, newsletters, and emerging platforms while building the relationships that matter and keep finding new ones as influence moves
- Industry analyst relations: Build strong, strategic relationships with the analysts shaping how enterprises understand the market and MongoDB’s position in it
- The big moments: Own how MongoDB’s story lands in the market at major company moments. From launches, keynotes and earnings to partnerships, competitive moments and reputation issues. Bring together market insight, product positioning and proof, and developer perspective into one coherent narrative, then lead the media, analyst and influencer strategy, timing and execution that makes it land
- Leading the global communications team: Build and lead a strong team across corporate, executive, product, analyst, social, internal, and regional communications, with a clear global strategy that works across markets

What we are looking for

- You have excellent judgment and create the agenda. You can take in a lot of information and quickly figure out what matters, what doesn’t, and where the real story is. You proactively raise ideas and opportunities and turn them into action.
- You understand the technology and the industry. You are fluent enough in AI, application architecture, and data infrastructure to engage credibly with technical executives, developers, product leaders, technical media, and analysts
- You know how influence works to drive outcomes. You have strong media and analyst relationships, understand social and influencer ecosystems, and are curious about where audiences are moving and how AI is changing discovery and recommendation
- You are a strong executive counselor. You can work with senior executives, challenge their thinking when needed, and help turn an interesting idea into a point of view people remember
- You are a strong operator and global leader. You build and develop strong teams and culture, create clarity when things are messy, and turn complicated, high-stakes moments into clear plans with owners, decisions, and deadlines

<p>MongoDB is at an important moment. AI is changing how applications are built, how technology gets selected, and what enterprises expect from their data infrastructure. We have a strong point of view on where this is going. We need a communications leader who can help us make that point of view matter in the market.</p>
<p>This is not a traditional corporate communications role. You will work closely with the CMO, CEO, and our technical leaders to sharpen the ideas we want to be known for and make sure they reach the people — and increasingly the AI systems — shaping technology decisions.</p>
<p>This role will lead the evolution of communications for an AI-mediated world—using traditional media, creators, technical media, podcasts, and other trusted voices to shape what people think and influence the sources AI systems use to generate answers and recommendations.</p>
<p>This role may be based in a hybrid capacity at any of our U.S. offices or fully remote within the United States.</p>
<h3>What you will own</h3>
<ul>
<li>Narrative and communications strategy: Partner with the CMO and MongoDB senior leadership to turn the company narrative into a clear external agenda and make sure it holds across executive communications, major company moments and various channels (media, analysts, social, etc.) </li>
<li>Decision making: Bring strong judgment on what is worth talking about, where we have something differentiated to say, and how we make it land globally</li>
<li>Executive communications: Build strong platforms for our CEO and other senior leaders and help sharpen their points of view and get them in front of the audiences that matter</li>
<li>Media, social and influence: Lead how MongoDB shows up across traditional and technical media, social media, influencers, creators, podcasts, newsletters, and emerging platforms while building the relationships that matter and keep finding new ones as influence moves</li>
<li>Industry analyst relations: Build strong, strategic relationships with the analysts shaping how enterprises understand the market and MongoDB’s position in it</li>
<li>The big moments: Own how MongoDB’s story lands in the market at major company moments. From launches, keynotes and earnings to partnerships, competitive moments and reputation issues. Bring together market insight, product positioning and proof, and developer perspective into one coherent narrative, then lead the media, analyst and influencer strategy, timing and execution that makes it land</li>
<li>Leading the global communications team: Build and lead a strong team across corporate, executive, product, analyst, social, internal, and regional communications, with a clear global strategy that works across markets</li>
</ul>
<h3>What we are looking for</h3>
<ul>
<li>You have excellent judgment and create the agenda. You can take in a lot of information and quickly figure out what matters, what doesn’t, and where the real story is. You proactively raise ideas and opportunities and turn them into action.</li>
<li>You understand the technology and the industry. You are fluent enough in AI, application architecture, and data infrastructure to engage credibly with technical executives, developers, product leaders, technical media, and analysts</li>
<li>You know how influence works to drive outcomes. You have strong media and analyst relationships, understand social and influencer ecosystems, and are curious about where audiences are moving and how AI is changing discovery and recommendation</li>
<li>You are a strong executive counselor. You can work with senior executives, challenge their thinking when needed, and help turn an interesting idea into a point of view people remember</li>
<li>You are a strong operator and global leader. You build and develop strong teams and culture, create clarity when things are messy, and turn complicated, high-stakes moments into clear plans with owners, decisions, and deadlines</li>
</ul>
